NOVA Publisher

Privacy Policy

Effective October 6, 2026

Information stored locally

NOVA Publisher stores content profiles, references to selected local video files, titles, descriptions, captions, publishing settings, job status, and platform identifiers in a SQLite database on the operator's computer. It also stores the connected channel or account name, avatar URL, account identifier, and granted permissions where provided by YouTube or TikTok.

Platform access

Connecting YouTube or TikTok grants NOVA Publisher the permissions shown on that platform's authorization screen. Access and refresh tokens are kept on the local server, encrypted at rest, and are not sent to the browser. Tokens are used to identify the connected account and perform the publishing actions the operator requests.

Video uploads

A video is sent to YouTube or TikTok only after the operator starts the relevant upload. YouTube stores uploaded videos and may publish a scheduled video after the computer is turned off. TikTok receives Draft uploads for the account owner to finish in TikTok. Once uploaded, the destination platform handles the video under its own privacy policy.

Retention and deletion

Project records and connection data remain on the operator's computer until removed there. Disconnecting a platform removes that connection from NOVA Publisher; it does not delete videos already uploaded to the platform. To remove an uploaded video, use the controls provided by YouTube or TikTok. The operator manages local database backups and deletion.
